These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Presbyterian Christian Fellowship in Canada (“PCFC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at www.pcfccanada.comand related online pages and forms (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

PCFC is a Christian church community in Edmonton, AB, Canada, gathering for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and outreach. Our physical address is 4246 91A Street NW, Edmonton, AB. Contact details are available on our Contact page.

You may use the Site for lawful personal and ministry-related purposes, including to:

• Learn about our beliefs, leadership, ministries, and events
• Contact us, request prayer, or plan a visit
• Apply for membership or complete an invited registration
• Access resources, articles, gallery media, and live worship links
• Support the church through giving options described on the Site

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or fraudulent activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to admin areas, accounts, or systems
• Upload malware, scrape the Site in an abusive way, or disrupt service
• Misrepresent your identity when submitting forms

Unless otherwise noted, text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, sermon notes, devotionals, articles, and other materials on the Site are owned by PCFC or used with permission. All rights are reserved.

You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial, or congregational edification purposes with attribution where practical. You may not republish substantial portions of our content as your own work, remove credits, or use our name/logo in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.

Scripture quotations and third-party materials remain subject to their respective publishers' rights and licenses.

When you submit information through contact forms, prayer requests, membership applications, membership registration links, or similar tools, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it.

Submissions are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Sending a message or application does not create a confidential lawyer-client, doctor-patient, or similar professional relationship. Pastoral care is ministry support, not a substitute for professional counseling, medical, legal, or emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Online membership applications and private registration links are requests for consideration by church leadership. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, membership status, or any particular outcome.PCFC leadership retains discretion over membership processes in accordance with our church order and practices.

The Site provides information about supporting PCFC through offerings, Interac e-Transfer instructions, and online giving. Online donations are processed by third-party platforms such as Zeffy. When you donate through those platforms, you are also subject to their terms and privacy policies.

Join Live pages and embeds may connect you to Zoom, YouTube, Facebook, or similar services. Those platforms are independent; their availability, quality, and policies are outside our full control. Technical issues, outages, or account requirements of those services may affect access.

Event details, service times, and ministry schedules on the Site are published in good faith and may change. Please verify important details with the church when needed.

Information about facilities, resources, reports, or study materials is provided for general communication with our community. Facility use, bookings, or resource access may require separate approval and conditions from church leadership.

The Site may link to or embed third-party websites and tools, including maps, social media, video platforms, donation processors, and meeting software. We are not responsible for the content, security, or practices of third-party sites. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Certain areas of the Site are restricted to authorized administrators. If you are given admin access, you must keep credentials confidential, use access only for legitimate church purposes, and notify leadership immediately of any suspected unauthorized use.

The Site and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PCFC disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content is always complete or current.

Spiritual teaching and resources on the Site are for faith and discipleship. They are not professional legal, medical, financial, or therapeutic advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PCFC and its leaders, officers, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or third-party services linked from the Site.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PCFC and its leaders, officers, volunteers, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another person.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts located in Alberta will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
